Our Re-enactment
visitors for Camporee will be the
30th North Carolina
Troops, co K
and the Col. Francis Marion Parker Civilian Alliance Click on their names to visit their websites to learn more about these fine groups. The 30th North Carolina Troops will have several historical event stations set up that the boys will visit during their round-robin of the camporee events. The Col. Francis Marion Parker Civilian Alliance, is a group of ladies that will have desserts (cookies, pound cakes, pies, brownies, etc.) and drinks - lemonade or hot chocolate (depending on the weather - hot or cold) of the 1860's available for sale during the camporee. So make sure the boys - and you adults as well - bring some extra cash to support the fund raising efforts of these ladies, they will certainly appreciate it. |

*** CANNED FOOD DRIVE ***
Again this year, a canned food drive will be conducted during Camporee. Each Scout should bring 2 cans of food to the Camporee. Drop off for the food will be on Saturday morning until noon, during the Camporee Events. Many "thank you's" to Troop 144 who is sponsoring this Food Drive for our Camporee. |

Sunday Chapel Services We will again be taking up a collection during Chapel Services, donations will be greatly appreciated. We will announce the charity that will be receiving the funds at the service. |

no Rebel flags as part of your Patrol flags at Camporee.

Leaders: Don't forget to bring your digital cameras to Camporee!!

Take pictures of the patrols at your
sponsored camporee event ~ ~ Take pictures of your patrols in your Troop doing each camporee event ~ The Camporee Staff will be available in the Chapman Shelter Headquarters to download your pictures to create a slide show to share the fun at the campfire and/or put together a CD of all the great pictures taken of the Camporee. |
